The Alanya Christmas Market is a traditional event that will take place over two days, making it one of the most vibrant and colourful occasions in Alanya. Organized by the Alanya Municipality, the Alanya International Christmas Market is scheduled for December 7th and 8th.
This year, the event will feature performances by well-known artists Ömür Gedik and Baran Aktan, as well as DJ Kadir Çetin. Now in its 14th year, the market will be held behind the Municipality on Saturday, December 7th, and Sunday, December 8th. Visitors can expect a lively celebration filled with colourful events and concerts, attracting thousands of local and international attendees throughout the two-day festival.
An enjoyable weekend is ahead for everyone
The International Christmas Market will showcase vibrant stands that represent the diverse cultures of the citizens living in Alanya. Visitors can enjoy a variety of food, beverages, clothing, and souvenirs, all infused with the spirit of the New Year. The festival area will feature an array of dance and music performances, with artists from different nations promoting messages of brotherhood and peace in this multicultural city.
There will also be special sections for children, including beloved characters like Santa Claus and playgrounds, allowing families to enjoy a delightful weekend together at the festival. Additionally, well-known artists will be performing at the International Christmas Market.
On the first day of the event, DJ Kadir Çetin will take the stage at 6:30 PM, followed by popular artist Ömür Gedik at 7:30 PM, who will serenade the audience with his delightful songs. The excitement continues on the second day with Baran Aktan performing at 7:30 PM.

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik has invited all citizens to the Christmas Market, which will feature a variety of colorful activities. Mayor Özçelik stated, “We are opening our Christmas Market, a cherished tradition in Alanya, for the 14th time this year. We have prepared a vibrant and engaging program for our citizens. The Christmas Market will provide an opportunity to experience different cultures, and we aim to send a message of unity and solidarity to the world from Alanya, a place where we embrace love, respect, and tolerance. I invite all residents, as well as local and foreign guests, to join us at our carefully planned Christmas Market.”
